(Association Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics), BMEnet GmbH (www.bmenet.de) has successfully positioned itself in the eProcurement market as a service provider for users beyond the core target group of association members and has expanded its range of services.
BMEnet GmbH provides consultation services to users from the areas of purchasing and sales in electronic procurement. The main focus is on the optimization of purchasing and sales when using electronic product catalogs, the creation of market transparency and investment certainty in the selection of electronic procurement systems and the dissemination of eBusiness trade information to users and decision makers.

catpilot is the Europe-wide platform for the exchange of electronic product catalogs (www.catpilot.com): here, suppliers present their corporate profiles as well as their BMEcat-certified product catalogs for quick and simple access. Buyers are able to search for products across branches and catalogs and obtain certified catalogs. Other available services are customer-specific catalogs and complete catalog data management for company-specific eProcurement platforms.

The BMEnet seal of quality evaluates software products and their processes according to standardized criteria. In this way, the standardized seal of quality creates market transparency and investment certainty in the selection of software solutions in the areas of desktop purchasing, catalog management, eSourcing, content management, ePlacing and contract management.
