Terms and conditions of participation in AMMPL benchmarking “Purchasing of indirect materials” (C-articles)
Under the aspect of data protection and confidentiality, we expressly point out that you are obliged to treat all data made available to you within the scope of the project „Benchmarking Logistics“ by AMMPL as confidential. Please make certain that the data are neither disclosed nor distributed to third parties.
The names of participating companies are not disclosed in order to maintain the highest possible levels of confidentiality.
For the purpose of data entry, a data entry software is made available to participants.
System requirements for the benchmarking data entry software:
Microsoft Windows 98 or higher
Microsoft Office 2000 or higher (Access, Excel)
Screen resolution: min. 1024 x 768, font style: normal
Prerequisites for participation are AMMPL company membership and the payment of participation fees.
8 premium shopping baskets for benchmarking are being offered:
- Electrical materials
- Tools
- Office supplies (except IT)
- Personal protective gear
- EDP consumables and accessories
- General consumables (for example: cleaning, hygiene, catering)
- Metal piping and accessories
- Laboratory chemicals and consumables
The participation fee for the first two shopping baskets is € 980 each and € 750 for each additional shopping basket (+VAT).
On the registration form, participants specify the area for which benchmarking is desired, choosing from the above selection. Participants may register for additional benchmarking areas at any time by submitting additional registrations.
Upon receipt of the enclosed, completed registration form at AMMPL, the participant’s registration is confirmed and he is obliged to pay the participation fee invoiced by AMMPL upon receipt of the invoice. After payment of the participation fee, the participant is entitled to have his data for the selected areas evaluated.
After a period of 12 months following the receipt of the registration by AMMPL, the participation period is extended, with all rights and obligations, by a period of another 12 months, if the participant does not terminate his participation in writing with a notice period of three months prior to the end of the term or if the project is canceled by AMMPL.
In case of price adjustments, which are expressly reserved by AMMPL, the participant is entitled to terminate his further participation by serving notice within four weeks after being notified of the price adjustment by AMMPL.
Results of the evaluation are made available in encrypted form. Each participant receives an overview of articles for which he has specified prices, The overview contains the following evaluations:
- Indication of the lowest price at 100%
- Indication of own price as a percentage deviation from 100%
- Average prices of all participants
- Positioning versus comparable participants (ranking)
We would like to expressly point out that we cannot extend any guarantee that comparison figures are available for all of your articles in the respective shopping baskets. In this case, there will be no reduction of the participation fee.
Please understand that we cannot assume any liability within the scope of this project.
The conditions of participation in the their respective current version are binding for participation in this project.
