• The BME-Buyer Circles in Shanghai and Beijing are the German language forums concerning the exchange of experience and know-how acquisition of procurement managers in China.
• The circles address to executive manager belonging to the fields of purchasing, supply chain management, supplier development as well as quality assurance.
• The membership is restricted to experts who are responsible for the procurement within a manufacturing company. External service providers are not authorized to join.
• A current topic relating to sourcing is determined for each convention about which a lecture by a participant or guest expert will be held, followed by a plenum discussion. Afterwards dinner and drinks are provided, giving the opportunity of an informal exchange of experience among participants.
• Consequent to each meeting participants will receive a report on the proceedings together with available PDFs of the lecture via e-mail.
• Venue either is the plant of a participant (incl. factory tour) or otherwise the conference room of an international hotel. Incidental costs for location and service are borne proportionally by the attendants.
