Why China?

German companies procure more than 10% of their total purchasing volume from China. More than half of them are using China as their resourcing market since at least five years, whereas 20% even are represented for ten years or longer. Thus there is an urgent need to support (BME-) companies in their Global Sourcing.

Bridge from Europe to China

Since 2005 the BME is active in China, having inaugurated buyer circles (e.g. Shanghai) , as well as having assisted German companies at their market entry ever since. The service portfolio is expanded successively.

The BME establishes an intense network in order to enable an exchange of experience within the China Community and helps companies to detect suiting partners, respectively suppliers. In addition the BME also is the relevant contact for Asian suppliers.
