BMEcat at CEN

The European Committee for Standardization develop a proposal for a standard for electronic procurement BII – Business Interoperability Interfaces develop. This proposal is based on existing standards and is intented to ease and facilitate the cross-border sourcing and ordering.

BMEcat participates in the development of this proposal since 2009. The proposal is successfully implemented in European countries like the Netherlands, Norway and Italy. By providing knowledge and expertise, BMEcat promotes the development of electronic procurement on a European level as well as ensures that the BMEcat standards is aligned with European and international developments in the field of standardization.
