BME- Compliance-Guidelines

The guideline document provides companies with practical suggestions for designing their antitrust compliance programs. It contains the cornerstones of an effective antitrust procedure.

Even though antitrust compliance programs have already become a matter of course for many companies, there are still uncertainties about the introduction and design of such programs.

In this context, the BME and the German Institute for Compliance e.V. (Deutsches Institut für Compliance e.V., "DICO") jointly published the guideline "Antitrust Compliance - Key Points of Effective Antitrust Compliance Programs (Part 1)" in German and English. It provides companies of all sizes and from a wide range of industries with practical suggestions for the design of antitrust compliance programs. The document is primarily intended as concrete support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

In addition to the guideline, the BME and DICO have also prepared a supplementary working paper with an exemplary set of antitrust rules ("Dos & Don'ts").
