"Getting the pharmaceutical industry fit for digitalisation"

The 3rd BME Global Pharma Supply Chain Congress 2018 will focus on increasing the efficiency of supply chains.

The technological and logistical challenges of the supply chains are the central theme of the 3rd BME Global Pharma Supply Chain Congress, which will take place in Frankfurt from February 26th to March 1st .Top managers of the industry, supply chain and global health experts discuss the latest megatrends in the pharmaceutical industry with the participants.

“Our congress is Europe's only peer-for-peer event for executives in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industry”, emphasizes Dr. Silvius Grobosch, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME).

The BME is supported by a steering committee in the planning and implementation of the event. The expert panel consists of 17 high-ranking supply chain managers from the world's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

In addition to plenary lectures, round table sessions and panel discussions are also planned.

On the last day of the event, the BME offers its participants two excursions and a workshop.

Excursion 1 offers a look behind the scenes of the pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim. Excursion 2 leads to Amazon Koblenz GmbH. A special workshop deals with the topic "Supply Chain Network Resilience".
