Exclusive: Historisches Grünes Gewölbe (Historic Green Vault) at the Residenzschloss

Gold, rock crystal and diamonds seem to want to outshine each other in the treasury of August the Strong, which he built between 1723 and 1730. Today, old and new coalesce in the Grünes Gewölbe at the Residenzschloss: While the Historisches Grünes Gewölbe (Historic Green Vault) allows visitors to immerse themselves in the authentically restored rooms of the treasury, the Neues Grünes Gewölbe (New Green Vault) shows selected exhibits, impressively illuminated behind glass.

The European Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Summit will take place in Dresden, in Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski. Dresden, a capital of European Culture, is home to the famous Semper Opera House and offers an innumerable variety of theatres, art collections, museums & galleries. Directly situated in the historical city centre, the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski is delivering its guests a luxury hotel experience, it is all about class and convenience. The building was built from 1705 to 1708 by Johann Friedrich Karcher as a palace for countess Anna Constanze von Hoym. It was destroyed in 1945 during World War II, and was rebuilt from scratch from 1992–95.
