EP&SCE 2027 – European Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Summit

Designed for Leaders, by Leaders – Invitation Only

In a world shaped by geopolitical volatility, economic fragmentation and AI-driven transformation, procurement & supply chain functions are becoming the central engine of resilience, intelligence and value creation. They are now at the core of antifragile value chains, enabling organisations not only to withstand disruption, but to improve and strengthen because of it. Geopolitical intelligence, the operationalisation of AI across the value chain and ecosystem integration are key to achieving the much-needed antifragile advantage.

Invitation-only: Join an illustrious circle of decision-makers who are shaping the future of procurement and supply chain.

BME European Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Summit is designed for:

  • Chief Procurement Officers
  • Chief Supply Chain Officers

Plenary Sessions

Plenary sessions set the strategic context by examining how global procurement & supply chains are being reshaped.

They focus on a changing global environment defined by geopolitical fragmentation, economic uncertainty and accelerating technological disruption, fundamentally altering how organisations design and operate value chains.

Against this backdrop, the sessions explore how procurement & supply chain functions are evolving - from redesigned sourcing and network strategies to the increasing role of data, intelligence and AI in decision-making and more adaptive operating models.

The shift beyond resilience toward antifragile value chains, systems that strengthen under conditions of volatility, is critical for the future.

Deep Dive Sessions

Deep Dives focus on the strategic challenges shaping the next generation of procurement & supply chain models. The emphasis is on frameworks and approaches that help organisations navigate complexity rather than isolated solutions.

Discussions typically address questions such as how sourcing strategies must evolve in response to geopolitical risk, how organisations balance efficiency with resilience and how digital capabilities change visibility, forecasting and decision-making across global networks. The discussion also covers data and technology resilience, including data sovereignty, cyber risk and the role of AI in enabling more predictive and connected value chains.

Workshops

Workshops translate strategic concepts into applied thinking. Participants work through practical challenges faced by  organisations when designing and executing procurement and supply chain strategies.

This includes addressing trade-offs between cost and resilience, improving supplier risk visibility, embedding compliance and regulatory requirements into sourcing decisions and using digital tools to support more informed procurement choices.

Overall, the evolution toward antifragile value chains, powered by AI and geopolitical intelligence, enables organisations to anticipate disruption and proactively redesign more resilient and adaptive networks.

Round Tables

Round Tables provide a peer-driven environment for senior leaders to exchange perspectives on current and emerging challenges.

Discussions focus on how organisations are unlocking the power of AI in the value chain and how supplier ecosystems are being reshaped by changing expectations around resilience, transparency and collaboration. Ecosystem integration will explore how suppliers and partners can be connected through a unified, shared data backbone to enable seamless collaboration and decision-making.

The format encourages open dialogue, benchmarking and reflection across industries, supporting a deeper understanding of how organisations are adapting their procurement & supply chain strategies in practice.
