Global sourcing is a matter of course for many companies. To be able to act competitively, you need reliable suppliers. BME International supports your search for suppliers.
Since 2009, we have been offering our members a need-based search as part of our events. Individual, coordinated and effective. We have brought buyers and suppliers together in over 4,000 matchmakings. With a success rate of over 28%, 1 out of 3 conversations leads to a result. The focus of the B2B matchmaking is on production materials and services - in Europe, Asia and North Africa. BME Sourcing Seminar
BME Sourcing Seminars are the smallest unit of our matchmaking events. Explore exciting markets together with our partners and at the same time prepare suppliers for the requirements of German procurement processes.
Together with GIZ, AHK or other partners, the dialogue-oriented sourcing seminars for buyers are both useful and effective. They implement knowledge, create a network and new business opportunities.
Design and structure of the seminars:
- Number of participating buyers: 3-5
- Buyer RFI and selected Supplier List
- One day (virtual or on-site)
- Morning Session: a seminar with buyers and BME presentations + discussion
- Afternoon: pre-selected B2B-Meetings
BME Sourcing Day
BME Sourcing Days are larger B2B events with at least 10 German companies and buyers in advanced markets. In addition to the search for suppliers, the focus here is also on personal networking. Looking for solutions together and networking beyond the sourcing processes - that is the Sourcing Day.
Together with local partners, BME International makes the supplier search effective. The most important thing: personal exchange.
Since 2014, Sourcing Days have offered direct access to procurement markets in the area of production materials. BME Sourcing Day Pilsen, which we have been organizing together with Czech-Trade every year since 2014, is just one of many examples.

BME/BMWK Purchasing Initiative
Since 2015, the BME has jointly organised BME Purchasing Initiatives on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Together with the AHK networks, we search for suitable suppliers in exciting procurement regions for our German buyers.
