Expert Council & Partner Network

A resilient international network supports our members in mastering their tasks. Especially in times of crisis and economic change, it is these resilient relationships that enable rapid action.

With our international partner network, we create access to markets, networks, institutions and government organisations. Always with the aim of helping our members with their questions and challenges.

The Global Sourcing Expert Council is for members only and deals with topics related to global procurement, SCM and logistics.

Our International Partner Network

For the value of our members, BME cooperates and works together with various international bodies, institutions and associations:

  • Institutional Partners: EU-Commission, Federal Minitsties, Embassies, etc.
  • International Network: IFPSM (global network of 48 purchasing associations)
  • German Chamber Network: +60 AHK all around the globe
  • Other Global Partners: state- owned trade agencies, local associations

Global Sourcing Expert Council

Exchange among experts, discussion on current challenges, addressing current issues such as local4local, risk management, logistics, market overviews or political developments.

Participation is limited to BME members. Meetings of the expert group take place up to 6 times a year.

If required, the Global Sourcing Expert Council divides into regional subgroups to discuss specific or current regional sourcing topics: CEE, NAFTA, Asia, Turkey or SEE (Southern Europe).
